Acceptance of Terms

By using TruePixel AI ("we," "us," or "the site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.

Description of Service

TruePixel AI is a free tool that analyzes an uploaded image and returns an estimated likelihood that it was produced by an AI image generator, along with a visual heatmap. The result is a percentage-based signal, not a certified or legally binding determination of an image's origin.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Upload images you don't have the right to use or analyze
• Upload content that is illegal, abusive, or violates someone else's rights
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the scan endpoint, including through automated scripts or bots
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the detection service
• Use the tool's output as the sole basis for legal, medical, financial, or other high-stakes decisions

Accuracy of Results

AI image detection is not an exact science. Scores can be affected by editing, compression, resolution, and the type of generator used to create an image, if any. We do not guarantee that any result is accurate, complete, or free of error, and you should not treat a detection score as definitive proof that an image is or isn't AI-generated. Use the result as one signal among others, alongside your own judgment.

Uploaded Content and Ownership

You retain full ownership of any image you upload. We don't claim any rights to your images, and as explained in our Privacy Policy, uploaded files are deleted from our server immediately after each scan. It's your responsibility to make sure you have the right to upload and analyze any image you submit.

Intellectual Property

The TruePixel AI name, logo, design, and underlying code are our property (or used under license) and may not be copied, redistributed, or used to build a competing service without permission. See our Copyright page for more detail.

Third-Party Services

Scans are processed using a third-party AI detection API. We don't control that provider's infrastructure, and while we choose services we trust, we're not responsible for outages or errors on their end that affect scan availability.

No Warranty

This site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TruePixel AI and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, including decisions made based on a detection result.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms as the tool evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
